GRIMM: Nick Investigates a Monster Under the Bed Claim in “Breakfast in Bed”

Grimm returns to its classic roots this week with a tale of a monster under the bed. Or behind the curtains. Or in the closet. It’s kind of hard to tell how that thing is getting into the room, or where it might spring from next, but we can tell you it’s scaring the residents of the Englewood hotel to death.
When Nick David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Russell Hornsby) investigate a local hotel after a grisly murder, they are confronted by a guest who claims to be haunted by a frightening creature that induces sleep paralysis before attacking.
With their options limited, the guys elect to send Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) in to spend a night at the squalid establishment in the hope of luring the creature out. But with so many dubious guests and staff to choose from, pinpointing the suspect may be trickier than they first thought.
We’ve seen the episode a little earlier than usual, thanks to our friends at NBC, and have a small collection of tidbits and teasers to share with you. As always we avoid plot and character reveals that would spoil your enjoyment of the live experience on the night.
It’s been too long since we’ve had an episode featuring our favorite Blutbad going undercover. “Breakfast in Bed” (a far less romantic title than it originally appears) sees Monroe electing to get to the bottom of a series of nighttime attacks on the vulnerable residents of a run down hotel.
Monroe is his usual blend of nervous tension and reluctant bravery, but steps up to the plate in a big way when he suspects the Wesen behind the attacks is the same type who terrorized a beloved family member in the past.
