It's definitely a case of "She swallowed the spider to catch the fly" in Friday's episode of NBC's Grimm as Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) takes a trip through the mirror to catch the menacing skull creature on the other side, and Nick (David Giuntoli) follows in order to catch Eve, and Adalind (Claire Coffee) offers to follow in order to catch Nick.
With just 3 episodes remaining, the puzzle pieces really start to come together this week in "Where the Wild things Were," even more so when Renard (Sasha Roiz) forms an uneasy alliance with Nick's friends in his absence.
Will combining their knowledge help peel away the last remaining mysteries surrounding the stick and the prophesy? And just how connected is Diana in events to come?
We've seen the episode a little early, thanks to our friends at NBC, and have a number of teasers about Friday night's episode to share with you. As always, we avoid outright spoilers, and plot and character reveals that would spoil your enjoyment on the night.
Having said that (don't you just hate it when people say that?), we suggest a modicum of caution nonetheless. It's the internet and one man's gently whispered suggestive half hint is another man's ten foot tall flaming spoiler with bells on.
There’s a scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in which the starving people of a destitute village offer Indy and his companion the only food they have left – some unidentified, stomach-churning, fly-laden, grey slop in a bowl.
A moment from Grimm’s next episode is reminiscent of that iconic 80’s action movie scene with one notable exception. Nick and Eve know exactly what they’re being offered to eat. But the truth doesn’t prove any easier to swallow.
Nick may never be able to look Monroe in the eye again.
On a side note, this scene is not the only homage to Indy. Look for an “I don’t have time for this” moment from Nick for bonus points.
