When American student Grace Atwood’s (Daisy Head) best friend Molly is brutally murdered in their shared apartment overnight, Grace finds herself and her French boyfriend Luc the focus of investigation from both the British police and tabloid press.
Did Grace murder her friend? The evidence seems to suggest she did, especially when it appears these so called best friends might have fallen out over a boy.
Why is Grace’s boyfriend Luc so anxious to flee the country? What manner of relationship did Grace and Molly share with their inappropriate college professor, and for that matter what secret dealings may have led someone to seek revenge against Grace’s charming but ruthless stepfather (Anthony Head)?
When her older sister Natalie (Emily Tremaine) arrives in London seeking answers and justice for her sister, she is determined to do what it takes to clear Grace’s name. However, their stepfather is one step ahead, having procured the services of the unorthodox Stan Gutterie (Billy Zane) — a lawyer who may just make or break Grace’s defence.
Meanwhile Grace’s other roommate Roz (Simona Brown) is keeping tightlipped about her role in procuring young women for secret trysts with crown prince Theo of the British royal family, and Molly’s brother Patrick (Kevin Ryan) has arrived from Ireland seeking revenge.
We’re not sure who killed Molly just yet, but it looks like there’s a lot of guilt to go around this summer.
We’ve got 2 new sneak peek clips to share from the premiere episode below.
