Blindspot is one of the handful of new dramas to hit screens this Fall that really seems to be having fun with its slightly out there premise — in which a beautiful woman, with no memories of her past, is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate and freshly inked tattoos.
One of the more prominent in the collection directs her to Agent Kurt Weller of the FBI where together they discover ‘Jane Doe’s’ ink-work is actually a series of carefully constructed pit stops on a roadmap to a vast conspiracy of crime – which is a pretty fun prospect for a new Monday night procedural if you ask me.
The cast includes Jaimie Alexander, Sullivan Stapleton, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ukweli Roach and Ashley Johnson.
Writer Martin Gero serves as executive producer along with Greg “The Flash” Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Mark Pellington and Marcos Siega.
Pellington directed the pilot episode, which we loved. FYI.
NBC released a collection of cast promotional photos today, which we’ve showcased in our gallery below.
