SHADOWHUNTERS Mid-Season Finale Scoop: Alec and Magnus Risk It All

Are you ready for tonight's mid-season finale, Shadowhunters fans?
The show is rolling out two back-to-back episodes "Familia Ante Omnia" and "Erchomai" which will see Clary doing all she can to gain insight into Lilith's plan. However, as she soon discovers, the best way to learn about your enemy is by getting up close and personal.
Meanwhile, as Lilith searches for a cruel and unusual way to take Simon out of the picture, Luke scrambles to rescue Clary from The Guard, and Alec and Magnus devise a risky plan to free Jace from Lilith's control.
What follows is an explosive finale (including our very favorite episode to date), filled with sacrifice, heart-breaking decisions, bold choices and shockingly brave moves from our favorite characters. This is truly one fans will be talking about for months to come.
We've seen the episodes a little early, thanks to our friends at Freeform, and have a number of teasers to share with you below. As always, we never reveal major plot points or character developments that might ruin your enjoyment of the night.
That said, we urge you to exercise a little caution anyway, as one girl's gentle teaser is another's great big flaming spoiler. If you would like to learn more about ScreenSpy's strict spoiler policy, you can do so by clicking through the link in this sentence.
A special favor? Look, we know you don't owe us anything, but this isn't a favor for us. It's for other fans of the show. As this is the mid-season finale, we're asking that you not share snapshots of this article in the form of photos over social media, as fans cannot choose NOT to view them when they appear in their timelines in this manner. Please be kind to fellow Shadowhunters fans, and share a link to this article instead of a series of photos.
Magnus Has Had Enough
We’ve been watching Lorenzo Rey strutting around like a peacock all season, doing a poor job of what we all know Magnus could do better with one hand tied behind his back.
This week, things come to a head between these two frenemies as Lorenzo makes his real (read petty) feelings known, and Magnus uncharacteristically loses his temper.
Things get ugly really fast, guys.
