Dr. Whale has his hands full in Once Upon a Time’s “In the Name of the Brother.”
Not only does he have to tend to Hook’s wounds, but there’s also the issue of that mysterious stranger (recurring guest star Ethan Embry) to worry about. It seems the stranger has complications that will kill him (read blood filling up in his chest cavity!) and will die without prompt surgery.
There are those however (Grumpy, we’re looking at you) who might prefer if the stranger simply died. That way, there will be no explanations about werewolves, witches, curses and magic spells to deliver.
Meanwhile, Cora makes herself at home in Regina’s house, and seems particularly interested in all things Henry. Let’s hope Emma gets to her first.
And last but not least, we catch some insights into Doctor Whale’s past, as he begs his father not to cut off his medical funding. “The name Frankenstein is going to stand for life,” he tells Dad.
Catch Once Upon a Time’s “In the Name of the Brother” Sunday January 20th on ABC.
