SUPERNATURAL Season 14 Premiere Scoop: Michael Undertakes a Special Mission
BY Jennifer Griffin
Published 3 years ago
It was a tempestuous finale for fans of the CW's Supernatural last season, but perhaps the biggest takeaways involved Michael reneging on his deal with Dean by taking possession of his body with a glib "thanks for the suit", followed by the final demise of Lucifer.
The show returns for season 14 on Oct. 11 with "Stranger in a Strange Land," and that clever title may be a nod to either Michael, who now finds himself on Earth and bent on pursuing a very special mission, or Jack, who finds himself powerless in a very human body for the first time.
The action picks up three weeks after Dean's disappearance, but Team Free Will has been anything but complacent about locating their missing Winchester. An exhausted Sam leads the search, with the help of Bobby, Mary, Maggie and the others. Meanwhile, Castiel chases down a lead in Detroit.
We've seen the episode a little early, thanks to our friends at the CW, and have a number of teasers to share with you. As always, we never reveal major plot points the show's writers or network would prefer kept under wraps. In fact you'll find us quite strict about spoilers generally. The Crowley Deal
Season’s premiere episode features a new demon with a penchant for saltwater taffy and infants … and calling people darling.
The name’s Kipling, or Kip for short, and it appears he wants nothing less than the full “Crowley Deal” from Sam and co.
Sorry, there’s only one Crowley, Kip, and you ain’t it, darling.
Kip’s one time offer will be one to force Sam to think very carefully.
