The Hunger Game’s Liam Hemsworth Joins The Expendables 2

Fresh from his role as Gale Hawthorne on Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games, young star Liam Hemsworth (younger brother of Thor’s Chris Hemsworth) is Expendables bound.

The Expendables 2, sequel to the $274 million grossing original, already boasts a number of well known action stars including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis.

Details on Hemsworth’s role are scarce, but it is known that he will play a sharpshooter.

Filming is set to begin in October.
