Tonight the curtain closes on what has probably been This is Us’ most ambitious mid-season finale to date.
Over just nine episodes the show has seen storylines on adoption, pregnancy, new relationships (Zevin!), the fluctuations in the balance of power within a marriage (Beth and Randall, we’re looking at you), and of course that divisive Vietnam storyline, throwing back to Jack’s experiences during the war, including his troubled brother, and a mysterious young Vietnamese woman.
Wait? All that in just 9 episodes?
Tonight’s mid-season finale will see Kevin and Zoe paying a visit to the ville that Jack once served in, while back at home Randall takes on wily councilman Solomon Brown.
Meanwhile, a flashback to the past will see Jack attempting to get through to his brother. However with just 48 hours remaining before Nicky is due to return to his base, Jack struggles with the uncomfortable notion that his brother may not want to be helped.
And in the present day, as Kate’s pregnancy progresses, her doctor advises that her blood pressure is high, forcing her to reconsider her job as an Adel-o-gram.
We’ve got 3 exclusive new sneak peek clips from tonight’s story to share with you below.
The fall finale “The Beginning is the End is the Beginning” airs tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 27 (09:00PM – 10:01PM) on NBC.
