This week Syfy’s Dark Matter will see the crew making a Space Station stopover for some drunken bonding, a little home cooking, and a spot of old fashioned revenge.

Recent episodes have shown us that for Four (Alex Mallari Jr.) and Six (Roger Cross), becoming reacquainted with their respective pasts hasn’t exactly been the liberating and healing experience they might have hoped.

Friday’s episode picks up on Six’s quest for revenge, but takes the whole identity theme a little further, exploring just how fragile that bond between the crew really is and how easily it can be broken when secret agendas put the others at risk.

As you may have guessed, we’ve seen the episode a little earlier than most, courtesy of Syfy, and have a handful of teasers to share with you.

As usual, there are no major spoilers here because we want you to enjoy the episode as much as we did.

Are we good? Ok, let’s take a look at what to expect this Friday on Dark Matter.

What Becomes of the Brokenhearted?

This week finds Three (Anthony Lemke) a little heartbroken following the death of his lady love, Sarah.

It seems he has been mostly keeping to himself since then, “cleaning my guns, working out, cleaning my guns,” as he explains to an irritated Four, who decides Six’s period of mourning has gone on long enough.

But Three isn’t the only one nursing his wounds. Six has been secretly plotting his revenge on the General, the leader of the Procyon Insurrection, and the man who made him the unwitting murderer of over 10,000 civilians.

It’s no coincidence that the Raza and the General now happen to be on the same stopover at the same time, but can Six shake his shadow – aka Five – long enough to take out his nemesis without the others finding out?

You can catch a sneak peek at Six’s encounter with the General’s soldiers here.
