Jessica De Gouw

Per EW, the CW’s upcoming Arrow series is getting another DC Comics character. Australian TV Actress Jessica De Gouw will join the cast in a guest arc as The Huntress, and as a potential love interest for Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen/Arrow.

The character of The Huntress has had several makeovers over the years in the DC comics universe, first emerging as the villain Paula Brooks, then later as Helena Wayne, the daughter of Batman and Catwoman, and more recently as Helena Bertinelli, a vigilante, proficient with a crossbow and with a tendency for violence.

Sound familiar?

Helena is a potential love interest for Oliver Queen; a fellow vigilante, set on destroying her father’s organized crime empire. But Helena’s blind pursuit of revenge will put her on a collision course with the Arrow,” reads the official description for the character.

De Gouw is expected to make her debut around the episode six mark.

Sparks, and arrows, will fly!
