Aerosmith Tour Canceled Due To Steven Tyler's 'Unexpected Medical Issues'

If you can’t wait to hear more of Steven Tyler smashing vocals in Aerosmith during the AeroVederci Tour, you’re going to have to wait a little more because the last four dates have been canceled, and it’s all due to Tyler’s medical condition.
The band’s statement said that the frontman is currently “seeking immediate care and has been advised by his doctors that he cannot travel or perform at this time.” Among the dates of the AeroVederci Tour canceled are September 27 in Curitiba Brazil, September 30 in Santiago, Chile, October 3 in Rosario, Argentina and October 7 in Monterrey, Mexico.

Steven Tyler ‘expected to make a full recovery’ after Aerosmith tour cancellation

The band did not specify what kind of medical condition Tyler is currently experiencing. However, it is expected for the Aerosmith lead vocalist to make a full recovery following proper rest and treatment. In the statement, Tyler also shared a message to his fans in South America where the tour dates have been canceled.

“To everybody in South America—Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico—I’m very sorry and feel like I’ve let you down,” Tyler wrote. “I won’t be able to continue the last four shows of this tour. I flew back to the U.S. on doctor’s orders last night after the show in São Paulo.” Although, Tyler did confirm that he is not in a life-threatening condition but he has to seek medical attention right away so that he could come back for his future performances.
“Unfortunately, health does not wait and it’s something even I can’t schedule around our shows,” Tyler continued. “As they say, ‘We humans make plans, and God laughs.’ I love you all and will be back with you soon.”
Back in July, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry collapsed backstage during the band’s Hollywood Vampires performance in Brooklyn. He was immediately hospitalized after EMTs revived him.
