Things certainly appear to be moving in that direction if recent episodes of CBS’ Under the Dome are anything to go by.

And the situation worsens in episode 2×04 “Revelation” next Sunday, when, as conditions in Chester’s Mill worsen, Big Jim and Rebecca consider resorting to the extreme measure of population control, which in turn drives a wedge between Barbie and Julia.

Meanwhile, clues to Melanie’s past and her connection to the Dome are revealed.

Dwight Yoakam reprises his guest role as creepy Lyle, the town barber.
