House of Cards’ Kate Mara And Fantastic Four’s Jamie Bell Just Got Secretly Married

Kate Mara (House of Cards) and Jamie Bell (Fantastic Four, Billy Elliot) just tied the knot!

Mara’s rep confirms that Mara and Bell were indeed married over the weekend in Los Angeles. On Monday, Bell tweeted a photo of him and Mara kissing, writing, “Me & Mrs. B.” Mara also posted the same image, writing, “nuptials.”

Kate Mara And Jamie Bell Thoughts On Wedding Planning

The “Fantastic Four” co-stars got engaged back in January this year and have been dating since 2015, just shortly after they wrapped filming for the said film. Last month, Mara revealed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” that between the couple, it was Bell who was hugely interested in wedding planning.

“I don’t love planning,” Mara confessed to Fallon. “I like planning in my life in general, but wedding planning, I’m just not that interested. Like, ‘What kind of spoon do you want on the table?’ I’m just so uninterested, but Jamie is very interested.”

“I will say, ‘I don’t care’, and he will immediately give a response of exactly the color and the shape — well the shape is obvious,” she continued before jokingly referring to Bell as “the bride.”

Mara also shared to People that it was difficult for her to date someone in the same industry as hers, but they made it work by being more considerate to each other’s time.

“You constantly have to shift things, and communicate,” she said. “Like asking, ‘What’s your deal with that show or with this movie,’ to make sure that you actually can see each other.

“I think that’s the most important thing, especially when you’re in a relationship with another actor, because it’s tricky,” she added. “We’re on the same page though, so that helps.”

This is Mara’s first marriage, while the British actor was previously married to “Westworld’s” Evan Rachel Wood, with whom he also had a 3-year-old son.
