Former Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus surprised a lot of her fans when she transformed into a daring darling back in 2013. Miley’s breakup with actor and fiance Liam Hemsworth followed the singer’s drastic change on her image. The ex-Disney sweetheart later released her Bangerz album which included her most controversial music video, Wrecking Ball.
In 2016, Miley Cyrus announced her engagement with ex-lover-turned-boyfriend-again Liam Hemsworth. Whether people admit it or not, Cyrus has somehow managed to stay away from the limelight. And now this year, Miley Cyrus is set to release her newest single called “Malibu,” a love song about his fiance Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus On New Single ‘Malibu’, New Music and New Image
In a recent interview with Billboard, Miley Cyrus said that she’s finally over her wild-child days and that she is on her way to becoming a better person. Cyrus openly talked about not smoking pot for three weeks which didn’t usually happen before. She also mentioned that she hasn’t been drinking lately and says that being clean has always been what she wanted to do.
Cyrus also happily talked about her upcoming single. According to her, the single speaks out about how she and Hemsworth have fallen for each other all over again. Along with Miley Cyrus’ new music is a new image that she’s now working on to build. Cyrus says that this time, her music is all about her mind and emotions while all her writing will be coming straight from her heart. The former Disney actress wrote songs and produced melodies with producer-writer Oren Yoel playing the instruments.
“Malibu” is set to drop on May 11.
