Taylor Swift Finally Reveals 'Reputation,' The Title Of Her New Album

After years of speculation from fans and the media on the return of Taylor Swift, today we finally have an answer. Her new album title has been revealed, and we can’t help but be awed at the latest tidbit the internet’s fixation with the pop star revealed. “Reputation,” Swift’s new album, will drop November 10th, according to a series of social media posts by Swift. And to top it all off, we will hear the first single off “Reputation” on Thursday night.

Taylor Swift Social Media Blackout

The singer began the week by purging all of her social media accounts. All followers and tweets from Twitter, all posts from Facebook, all Instagram photos, and all Tumblr posts have all been removed. The profile pictures were also changed to black.

Swift then proceeded to posts a GIF of a CGI snake every morning for three days straight, Now you can just imagine the horror of waking up and seeing Swift’s snake first thing in the morning. Several Instagram posts followed, each revealing a portion of “Reputation’s” black and white cover.

Reputation: A Revamp of Taylor’s Music Style (Again?)

“Reputation” features Swift in an entirely black and white cover art. She’s very solemn and is sporting a ripped sweater. Her name appears as a newsprint collage written in a metal goth font. It looks like we’re going to have a new Swift sound once her first single drops, and we can wait but imagine how she would do these songs live very soon. A new era of music for Taylor Swift fans has indeed come.

“Reputation” is the follow-up album from 2014’s smash album hit “1989.” Since the singer moved to the pop genre, a collaboration with Zayn Malik was also released this year called “I Don’t Want To Live Forever,” the soundtrack from the movie “Fifty Shades Darker.”
