The Avengers 4: Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts Confirmed To Appear

The latest set photo leaks from the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe entry “The Avengers 4” has just confirmed the return of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts. However, this latest photo leak comes from Iron Man himself, Robert Downey, Jr. The actor posted an Instagram photo of him, Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan and, obviously, Miss Pepper Potts. Favreau also shared the same image on his Twitter page.

Over the past nine years, Marvel has made a name for itself by building a cinematic universe so massive that more probable stories keep coming in. Aside from “Avengers: Infinity War,” the studio is aiming to come up with one of the most ambitious superhero film projects to date, and that is the untitled “The Avengers 4.” The film is said to be the continuation of “Infinity War.” Not only will these two films tie some loose ends left in every installment of the MCU but also bring together all the main Marvel characters that we’ve seen on the big screen since 2008.

Thanks to Downey, Jr., Pepper’s return has been made official. And while the photo doesn’t reveal much about the plot of the film save for the faces of three happy characters in “The Avengers 4.”

“Infinity Trinity … #infinitywar 📸and street cred @jimmy_rich represent @marvelstudios and @therealstanlee,” Downey, Jr. captioned the photo, referring to film assistant Jimmy Rich and legendary comic book author Stan Lee.

There was a considerable stretch of time where Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts didn’t appear in any MCU film, following the release of Iron Man 3 back in 2013. Her absence was even addressed in “Captain America: Civil War,” and it led many fans to wonder when she’ll make her appearance again. However, when “Spider-Man: Homecoming” hit theaters this year, fans were surprised to see Pepper back in the MCU family, even sporting an engagement ring from Tony Stark.

“The Avengers 4” is slated for a 2019 release.
