ONCE Stars Ginny Goodwin & Josh Dallas Talk Babies, Frozen & Season 4

According to Once Upon a Time star Josh Dallas, making David a Dad has done wonders for his character’s “huge heart.”

The new real life Dad speaks about how becoming a father has helped David be the parent he didn’t get to be with Emma. “It’s huge,” the Once star reveals in a new video interview, courtesy of our friends at ABC.

“Prince Charming needs a life that is worthy, I think,” says Dallas. “He needs a battle. He needs a quest. He needs a maiden to rescue. He needs a baby. A baby is something that can fill his huge heart.”

Meanwhile, Ginny Goodwin previews that obstacles lie ahead for new mother Mary Margaret, who will step into Regina’s (Lana Parrilla) shoes this week as she attempts to rise to the challenges of being Mayor of Storybrooke.

Not only is Mary Margaret “struggling a lot with letting go of her son,” but she now faces additional responsibility issues for the town.

“Mary Margaret is at first loath to take over these responsibilities, but then finds she may actually have a knack for it and incorporates some of her mothering skills,” the actress hints of Sunday’s episode.

Once Upon a Time’s “Rocky Road” airs Sunday 8/7c on ABC.
