BONES: Exclusive Scoop on “The Murder of the Meninist”
BY Jennifer Griffin

Booth and Brennan investigate the weird world of ‘Meninists’ in Thursday’s new Bones episode.
And if that title (a corruption of the word ‘feminist’) has you gritting your teeth, then be warned. There’s more white male privilege where that came from. It might want to make you punch something.
Meanwhile, Angela and the team struggle to deal with Hodgins post-injury anger and bitterness, but when that anger becomes directed at Angela, someone decides to step in and set Hodgins straight.
And in lighter moment, Booth becomes convinced that Brennan, just like the hypothetical butterfly of Chaos Theory, is a jinx for the Philadelphia Flyers, and decides to do everything in his power to prevent her watching the team’s next game with him.
However, Brennan has other ideas.
We’ve seen the episode a little early, thanks to our friends at FOX, and have a number of teasers to share with you.
As always we strive not to reveal major plot-points that could otherwise ruin your enjoyment of the episode. However, we’re aware that one man’s gentle teaser is another’s great big flaming spoiler.
We therefore advise you to proceed with caution, step wisely, and avoid the Meninists at all costs
The Not so Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Remember Hodgins’ cheery can-do attitude of last week? Well hang on to those memories because we’re about to see a new — and nastier — side to our favorite bug boy as the crushing reality of his situation sinks in.
Anger, rage, self pity (lots of self pity) and biting sarcasm will all take center stage as Hodgins takes to sniping at those closest to him.
The contrast will prove a jarring one for longtime fans of this character.
