In this brand new video interview with Kara Killmer and Monica Raymund, the Chicago Fire stars go behind the scenes to tease what fans can expect in the show’s 100th landmark episode.
Of hot debate: who is the biggest ‘Dawsey’ shipper, Dawson and Brett’s uncomfortable double date and what terrible secret the Molly’s may be hiding.
“Some fun romantic things [are] unfurling this episode,” says Killmer. “Brett gets to have some love too, with Antonio!”
“With my brother!” adds Raymund, mock seriously. “Which is like, a little awkward. We actually go on a double date. you’re going to see how fun it is for me to watch them.”
Ok, DawBrett fans. you can officially rejoice now.
As for Molly’s? Killmer and Raymund reveal that the fun kicks off when Otis convinces Herrmann to throw a bash in celebration of the milestone 100th anniversary of the bar. (Yes, the show has 100 episodes under its belt, and Molly’s just happens to be celebrating 100 years. Go figure!) However, their attempts to publicize the bar’s history take a step to the left when they uncover some startling information.
“We find out that Molly’s actually has this horrible history,” reveals Killmer. “It’s famous for another reason.”
