Spotify And Hulu Discount Bundle Offer $4.99 To Students

Spotify and Hulu are amazing streaming services but sometimes a drain to one’s pocket.
Especially if you are a college student paying off tuition, books, and food. After a long day of studying and classes, you’d want to wind down with a good show or listen to your favorite album. With Spotify and Hulu’s combined package you can easily do that with an inexpensive price.
U.S. college students can buy Spotify Premium music streaming and Hulu TV streaming for a combined discounted price of $4.99 per month.

Spotify and Hulu Back To School Bundle

The combined streaming package offers students access to Hulu’s streaming library. But you still have to deal with commercials. They will be played in between intervals like the ones on Television.
Spotify already offers a $4.99 per month Spotify Premium plan for Students. It is a $5 discount on the company’s regular Premium service. So if you are a college student who is currently on this plan you can subscribe to Hulu’s limited commercial plan for free. This works as well for new subscribers.
Hulu shows include original content like their hit drama “Handmaid’s Tale” and other shows such as timeless hits like “Seinfeld” and “Fear the Walking Dead.”

The regular price for non-students for a subscription to Spotify Premium costs $9.99 month while a base subscription to Hulu costs $7.99 per month. With their package deal, it costs less than a third of the market value of each separate subscription.
And compared to other streaming services it is $13 cheaper. It’s not a bad deal.

Spotify’s First TV And Movie Partnership

The music streaming service has been attempting to break into the video streaming market for quite some time now. At some point, the company had a plan to release a dozen original video series. They planned for each episode to last no longer than 15 minutes and will be available to iOS and Android users. Be it free or paid subscriptions.
Some of Spotify’s original concepts included “Rush Hour”, a series from hip-hop legend Russel Simmons bringing artists together for lightning-fast remixes. As well as documentary series called “Landmark” about highlighting moments in musical history.
According to Mark Mulligan, managing director of MIDiA Research, a media and technology research company, Spotify’s partnership with Hulu is a smart move. Seeing that the company has been trying to get into the video streaming business, the partnership can ease them into it. As well as keeping up with other streaming services.
Spotify had more than 60 million paid subscribers as of July. The partnership will help Hulu compete with rival streaming service Netflix Inc.
