7 Things to Know About SLEEPY HOLLOW’S “Awakening”

We're fresh off an advance screening of Sleepy Hollow's penultimate episode of the season and frankly we're a little excited.
"Awakening" is, in our opinion, not only the best episode of the show to date (serving as a clever bookend to the pilot) but one which we know will both excite and divide fans at the same time.
The Network has teased that the episode will see "Ichabod and Abbie fighting against those who want to re-awaken a powerful witch coven" but trust us, that log line is just the tip of the spear. This installment is packed with so many plot and character developments that we're not sure where the show will possibly go in its final episode next week.
We've selected 5 teasers for you below (being very careful to keep you spoiler free on all major plot points) to help ready you for what's to come this week and next, but if we're being honest, nothing's going to properly prepare you for this one.
2. Promises, Promises
At some point early on, before this episode completely blows up in our faces, Abbie and Ichabod will recommit to each other and their shared mission.
“We must put our bond as witnesses above anything or anyone else,” says Abbie before realizing how this will affect her later.
“Truer words!” agrees Ichabod heartily, before realizing how this will affect him later.
