Alison Brie Gets Romantically Nostalgic (and Naked) in Trailer for Somebody I Used to Know

She may not be reprising her role as Zoya the Destorya in GLOW anytime soon, but Alison Brie has teamed up with her husband Dave Franco for a movie about romance and nostalgia.

On a trip to her hometown, workaholic Ally reminisces with her ex Sean and starts to question everything about the person she’s become. Things only get more confusing when she meets Cassidy, who reminds her of the person she used to be.

Fans who loved Brie in Community will probably love that she’s once again united with Danny Pudi in this film, who seems to be playing Brie’s close confidant.

I think it’s also funny that the character of Ally would be former nudist, because Brie herself has been open with the story of going to a nudist college and sometimes going for a jog without clothes on. She explains this in an interview with Conan:

Though Brie is a comedy darling, she has been starring in some very experimental films outside of her more mainstream projects. Netflix’s Horse Girl was a pretty bizarre ride, but with Somebody I Used to Know, I think we could be in for a non-conventional Valentine’s movie.

Somebody I Used to Know premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Feb. 10.
