BLINDSPOT Sneak Peeks: “Ca-Ca-Candidate for Cri-Cri-Crime”

This week the Blindspot team find themselves drawn into dangerous political intrigue when a tattoo connection links Weitz (guest star Aaron Abrams) to an unsavory character from his past.
Yes, we know that the position of FBI Director is about as fraught as that of Defense against the Dark Arts professor (Rich’s words, not ours), but we were just warming up to Weitz (sorta), and now this?
Can the team’s newest boss weather this latest storm, or is he as doomed as his predecessors?
We’ve got three exclusive new sneak peeks from Friday’s action to share below that may just sway your opinion.
Watch as a new broom unceremoniously informs Weitz she’s taking over for Keaton, who is still in a medically induced coma following his shooting last week. However, Sabrina Lauren, the CIA director’s ‘indirect direct’ assistant seems more interested in interrogating Reade than anything else.
So, not off to a good start then.
Meanwhile, in clips 2, and 3, the team discuss a lead pointing to an organization known as the G.P.A. and its connection to Weitz. Rich is convinced Weitz is still one of the good guys, despite mounting evidence to the contrary, but Patterson is reluctant to buy it, especially as it looks like Weitz is literally fleeing the building as they argue.
The episode, “Ca-Ca-Candidate for Cri-Cri-Crime,” airs Friday, November 16 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) on NBC.
Blindspot stars Sullivan Stapleton as Kurt Weller, Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe and Remi, Rob Brown as Edgar Reade, Audrey Esparza as Tasha Zapata, Ashley Johnson as Patterson and Ennis Esmer as Rich DotCom.
