Euphoria’s Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton Joins The Umbrella Academy Season 3

While Javon Walton’s Ashtray was only a side character in HBO’s hit series Euphoria, he managed to steal the show when it came to the finale. While it’s unlikely we’ll see more of Walton in Euphoria, he did land a role in one of Netflix’s biggest shows.
According to an official tweet from Netflix, Walton will be joining the cast of Umbrella Academy for the third season. Here’s the post:
I heard a rumor… that Javon Walton is joining the cast of Umbrella Academy Season 3 — and I’m happy to confirm that it is true!

No details have been revealed about Walton’s role, but my first guess would be that he’s one of the Sparrow Academy kids. Then again, the Sparrows had already been cast with Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Jake Epstein, Genesis Rodriguez, and Cassie David.
In the end of Umbrella Academy Season 2, the Hargreeves siblings find themselves in an alternate timeline where Sir Reginald had put up the Sparrow Academy. We get a teaser for a new group of siblings (possibly with powers), but the bigger reveal is that Ben (Justin H. Min) is alive. With the Hargreeves having a rough relationship with the Umbrella Academy founder Sir Reginald, I have a feeling that this alternate dimension will have a friendlier version of the Hargreeves patriarch. Then again, that’s just speculation.
As for Walton, his Ashtray has managed to be the topic of discussion all over the internet, seeing as how the finale played out. Walton definitely had one of the more memorable sendoffs in the show, and a lot of people will be missing him when Euphoria 3 comes around.
No release date has been set for The Umbrella Academy 3, but you can catch Walton in Euphoria now on HBO Max.
