Free Episode of The Boys Presents: Diabolical Shows Homelander's First Superhero Mission

Ever since Love, Death & Robots on Netflix, every other big IP seems to be following suit with their own animated anthologies. Marvel has Marvel’s What If…? and Lucasfilm has Star Wars: Visions; now Amazon Prime Video is set to give us a Boys animated anthology called The Boys Presents: Diabolical.

The show is set to premiere by the end of the week, and Amazon has decided to release a full episode online for free. Check out the episode One Plus One Equals Two:

While we were expecting some comedic entries in the series, it looks like things. The episode essentially follows Homelander during his early days of The Seven, starting with Vought’s official reveal of him as well as Black Noir.

It’s one of those violent, action-heavy sequences, but you also get more of that power dynamic between Homelander and his old handler Stillwell.

Diabolical is set to premiere on the same date as The Boys Season 3, but since Amazon won’t be dropping the full season of the live-action show, there’s a lot of time to check out the animated spinoff. With some top-notch talent attached to the series, it’s definitely something worth checking out.

From some of the most unhinged and maniacal minds in Hollywood today comes Diabolical, a collection of eight irreverent and emotionally shocking animated short films. Featuring stories by Seth Rogen, Awkwafina, Aisha Tyler, and more, each episode plunges elbow-deep into unseen crevices of The Boys Universe.

The Boys Presents: Diabolical premieres on Amazon Prime Video on June 3.
