Galadriel Must Fight in New Trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

With the House of the Dragon premiere out of the way, Amazon Prime Video can now have some room to breathe for the premiere of their Lord of the Rings series. Just in, we have a look at the massive scale of LOTR: The Rings of Power.

Watch this:

Though we do have a look at some different characters, the series does make it a point to have Galadriel in the very lead. We don’t know who else could be a member of her supposed fellowship, but it’s possible it will be just like the first LOTR with her gathering friends from every race.

I am curious if the series is going to feature a wizard, seeing that they are pretty much as immortal as the elves. While I’m sure fans would love to see familiar characters like Gandalf or Saruman, I think the series could be depending on the Blue Wizards, who don’t have much details revealed about them in Tolkien’s official canon.

If anything, the series looks huge, and it should provide some family-friendly fantasy if House of the Dragon isn’t really your thing.

Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power brings to screens for the very first time the heroic legends of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history.

This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth.

From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the elf-capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premieres with two episodes on Sept. 2, only on Amazon Prime Video.
