Jonathan Groff is a Stuffed Rabbit in Trailer for Lost Ollie

Shannon Tindle has worked on critically praised films like Coraline and Kubo and the Two Strings, and she has teamed up with Netflix for this animation-meets-live-action series called Lost Ollie.

Here’s the trailer:

Here’s also the official description of the miniseries:

When Ollie, a stuffed toy, awakens to discover himself in an unfamiliar place, he embarks on an epic journey to find his best friend Billy.

While the story pretty much sounds like your average ‘lost thing needs to get back to his family’ film, Lost Ollie has actually gathered quite the impressive cat with Gina Rodriguez, Jake Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, and Mary J. Blige. They even got Frozen’s Jonathan Groff to provide the voice of Ollie.

Initially I thought Lost Ollie was going to be a film, but it actually has four episodes listed down for its run. My guess is each member of the cast will have the chance to shine when it comes to their individual episodes, but I think characters like the one played by Jake Johnson could be showing up in every entry just to tie the whole narrative together.

The series looks like a neat children’s property for this month, and I’m sure that there will be fans who will love the knitted aesthetic that Ollie and the other toys have. While the lost toy arc is kind of close to Toy Story 4, I think some kids will just love a quiet, heart-warming tale about being lost and going on an adventure.

Lost Ollie comes to Netflix this Aug. 24.
