Justice League Major Character Focal Point Revealed

It’s been a crazy weekend for “Justice League” fans. After teasing us with character trailers featuring Aquaman, Batman, Cyborg, the Flash and Wonder Woman, Warner Bros. has finally dropped it’s first official trailer for the ensemble cast film. And even though Superman isn’t part of the teasers and the trailer itself, it still impressed even the highest of naysayers. Well, we have to admit, the trailer is pretty amazing.

Justice League To Center On Cyborg’s Origin Story

As we move closer to the premiere date of “Justice League”, fans are expecting to learn more about the superhero league and the scope of their mission in the film. So far, only a few bits of info have been revealed by Director Zack Snyder, but during an interview with USA Today, Snyder talked about his high hopes for “Justice League” including the film’s focal point: Victor Stone, AKA Cyborg.

When asked about “Justice League’s” newcomers, Snyder said that both Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller each brought special elements to their roles as Aquaman and the Flash. As for Ray Fisher, his take on Cyborg will be the one to give true heart to the superhero blockbuster.

“You have Jason stomping around as this inked hairy man, just this mythic figure. And you’ve got Ezra, who’s full of life and hilarious and all over the place and amazing — a really fun and also poignant Flash,” Snyder said. “And Ray’s story is in a lot of the ways the heart of the movie.”

This news comes as a surprise to Cyborg fans; if you compare him to the top-tier DC superheroes in Justice League, Cyborg might come up as unfamiliar to casual audiences. Cyborg is the youngest members of the league next to Flash, and he’s also struggling to understand the magnitude of his obvious show of powers. But going back to his cameo in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” we know for a fact that his family will play an important role, especially since his father was the one who discovered the Mother Box. It’s also seen in the trailer how the mayhem starts with the Stone family.

It’s still not clear whether the DCEU plans to make a solo movie for Cyborg. But if fans are lucky, we might just get it within Warner Bros’ unspecified DC film schedule in 2018.

“Justice League” hits theaters on November 17, 2017. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer below:
