New Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Featurette Talks the Legacy of Chadwick Boseman

After Thor: Love and Thunder, Marvel is ready to come back to the big screen with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film is only a month away, and Marvel has released a new featurette talking about the legacy of Chadwick Boseman and the threat of Namor from Talocan.

Watch this:

Admittedly, the film is in a very rough spot in which they have to properly send off Chadwick Boseman while at the same time deliver an action-packed, quippy Marvel film. While some fans had petitioned to just recast the character of T’Challa, Marvel had already gone too far in incorporating Boseman’s death into the sequel’s story.

For now, the film is looking to introduce a new Black Panther, which a lot of people think is going to be T’Challa’s younger sister Shuri; some are thinking it could be T’Challa’s love interest Nakia. This is just me speculating, but I have a feeling we could be looking at several people taking on the Black Panther mantle in the film, with the movie ending with one single Panther.

Then again, that’s just my guess.

Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with Nakia and Everett Ross to forge a new path for their beloved kingdom.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever comes to cinemas on Nov. 11.
