Latest Trailer for Wednesday Showcases More of the Addams Family

Tim Burton is delivering a new twist to the Addams Family franchise with the upcoming series Wednesday, and though the show won’t come out this Halloween, it should help extend the season for a little bit until Christmas comes.

Just in, we have a new trailer for Wednesday, and it showcases more of Wednesday’s kooky family—including a first look at Uncle Fester. Watch this:

New characters are revealed in the official trailer for WEDNESDAY, an upcoming Netflix series from the imagination of Tim Burton. WEDNESDAY — starring Jenna Ortega in the title role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci and more — is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Just in case you had any trouble recognizing him, that’s Fred Armisen in the Uncle Fester make-up. While Christopher Lloyd’s Uncle Fester had the dark eyes and bald head, Armisen’s version still renders him unrecognizable even though his look is a lot simpler.

And though she isn’t really an Addams in the show, we have our first look at Christina Ricci as one of Wednesday’s teachers. While the series seems to be propping up Ricci’s character to be the adult that Wednesday gets to torment with her weirdness, I think that there is something secret about Ms. Thornhill that we should watch out for. After all, why else would they cast the OG Wednesday Addams?
