After Shazam! Fury of the Gods, DC is now gearing up for the release of The Flash starring Ezra Miller. Fans are still waiting for a second trailer, but some new promo material has leaked online and it gives us good looks at Flash, Michael Keaton’s Batman, and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl.

We’ve seen this Flash costume before, and even now I’m still a bit iffy on the design. I do think Supergirl has a very original look based on previous iterations in other media (i.e., The CW’s Supergirl); and Keaton’s Batsuit has an upgraded look while keeping a lot of the original elements from the 80s and 90s outfits.
Also, I know there are a lot of haters for the other Flash who wears an altered batsuit, but I would have loved to get a closer look at the makeshift outfit in a poster.
The promos also feature some diagrams labelled past, present, and future, and I’m guessing we could be getting some kind of exposition scene which pinpoints exactly where Flash ended up in the timeline, and which multiverse. While fans are expecting some kind of overhaul for the entire DCEU, I’m hoping we get the sendoff to the Snyderverse that this movie is said to be making.
Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian — albeit not the one he’s looking for.
It’s definitely been a long wait for Flash fans, but The Flash is finally going to be hitting cinemas on June 16.
