Raunchy Fantasy is Back in Red Band Trailer for The Legend of Vox Machina

It would be a while before we get the second season of House of the Dragon, but Amazon Prime Video is set to deliver your adult fantasy fix with the second season of The Legend of Vox Machina which comes out next month.

Just in, we have a red band trailer for Season 2, and it confirms that the gang of merry warriors is going up against a group of evil dragons. Watch this:

After saving the realm from evil and destruction at the hands of the most terrifying power couple in Exandria, Vox Machina is faced with saving the world once again—this time, from a sinister group of dragons known as the Chroma Conclave.

Though we do have ‘serious’ fantasy shows like Rings of Power and HOTD, Vox Machina is an ode to modern Dungeons & Dragons culture where the characters live in a fantasy world, but their interactions and humor are all reflections of modern society. Dan Harmon had pretty much done a low-budget version of the show with Harmonquest, but the guys at Critical Role actually got a fully animated series out of their campaign.

After a successful first season, I’m excited to see all the characters coming back, and this should keep everyone hyped about the D&D world while we wait for the release of the live-action movie next year.

The Legend of Vox Machina Season 2 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Jan. 20, 2023.
