Robert Pattinson Admits to Arguing with Batman Haters Online

The Batman star Robert Pattinson is quite the personality behind the scenes as well, and fans online are always eager to see what kind of odd things he’ll admit to like not exercising during the pandemic or thinking that Twilight was written by an insane person.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Pattinson admits that he likes to lurk in the Batman forums, and sometimes, he’ll even argues with people online. Watch this:

“I generally lurk [online], sometimes I just get pushed a little far, and I have to respond to something, so when sometimes you just see a quite abstract message just going like, ‘Please leave me alone,’(laughs) that’s me. ‘Stop picking faults!… I’m doing my best!’”

It’s funny that Pattinson should admit that he lurks around online, because that’s essentially the characterization of Paul Dano’s Riddler, who feels like he leaped right out of a Reddit forum.

For now, The Batman is sitting at the top of the box office, complete with rave reviews and huge ticket sales. We don’t know when a sequel is going to come out yet, but the ending already teases more of Gotham to come, and we would get to watch Pattinson’s Dark Knight come out of the shadows and become a beacon of hope for the crumbling city.

Batman ventures into Gotham City’s underworld when a sadistic killer leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans become clear, he must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued the metropolis.

Catch The Batman now in theaters.
