Unrated Version of M3GAN Announced

Universal may have released M3GAN during a dump month, but the movie still managed to make waves at the box office, and everyone has been raving about cinema’s latest killer doll.

While the movie can already get pretty graphic already, an unrated version of M3GAN has been announced, and it’s set to come out on digital this week, with the Blu-Ray releasing in March. Check out the post:

We don’t have that much details on what the unrated version of the movie will deliver, but I imagine it’s going to have a lot more violence compared to the original movie. Personally I just love the scenes where M3GAN is just being a sassy murderous robot—no wonder the gays really love her.

For now, Blumhouse has already greenlit a sequel dubbed M3GAN 2.0 which will probably pick up on the thread that M3GAN survived as being part of the Gemma’s ‘Alexa’ system. We don’t know if she’ll be able to make a new body for the sequel, but I bet fans are already excited for the next Halloween costume of the year.

M3GAN is a marvel of artificial intelligence, a lifelike doll that’s programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. Designed by Gemma (Allison Williams, Get Out), a brilliant roboticist, M3GAN can listen, watch, and learn as it plays the role of friend, teacher, playmate, and protector. When Gemma becomes the unexpected caretaker of her 8-year-old niece, she decides to pair the girl with a M3GAN prototype, a decision that leads to unimaginable consequences.

The unrated edition of M3GAN comes out to digital on Feb. 24 and Blu-Ray UHD on March 21.
