We just got our first images for Dune: Part Two last week, and now Legendary Entertainment is set to release the first trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s follow-up to Frank Herbert’s sci-fi epic.
The trailer is set to release on May 3, and we have a new poster dropped featuring Paul (Timothee Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya). Check this out:

Though Chani was only a small role in the first movie, she’s now expected to have a more major presence in the sequel. Despite the romance being teased between her and Paul, the sequel will also introduce us to Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh) who turns the relationship into a love triangle.
We should also expect to see the Harkonnen golden boy Feyd-Rautha who will be facing Paul head-on. With Sting playing the part of Feyd in the original Dune adaptation, the part will now be taken over by Elvis star Austin Butler. I guess the role just really demands someone with that rockstar presence.
For now, a countdown has been set for the release of the first trailer, and you can watch for it here:
The synopsis for Dune: Part Two reads:
Paul Atreides unites with Chani and the Fremen while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he must prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Dune: Part Two is expected to hit theaters on Nov. 3.
