Netflix Teases Vol. 3 for Love, Death & Robots

Disney+ may have animated anthology series with Marvel’s What If…? and Star Wars: Visions, but Netflix has managed to gain the most critical acclaim with their series Love, Death & Robots. The series is now set to release its third season, and we have a new teaser courtesy of the streaming giant.

Watch this:

Since the episodes aren’t really connected with each other, we should expect the same as the first season—animated stories that feature Love, Death, or Robots—either with only one element, or sometimes all three.

While stories are pretty hit or miss, the show has been home to some spectacular visuals, and it’s a treat for anyone who loves great animation. Even the storytelling can get pretty interesting, and it feels like the show is trying to pitch multiple movies to the audience at once.

With Netflix reportedly closing down their animation division, we don’t know how long Love, Death & Robots has—but with so much critical praise going for the series, maybe Netflix will reconsider giving a volume 4 the green light.

Love, Death + Robots is a 5-time Emmy-winning animation anthology series produced by Blur Studio. Launched in March of 2019 on Netflix, Love, Death + Robots delivers a variety of style and story unlike anything else, spanning the genres of science fiction, fantasy, comedy, horror, and more. Created by Tim Miller with David Fincher as executive producer, the series brings together a global team of directors and animation studios to push and expand the medium. Eighteen shorts in all, Love, Death + Robots has something for everyone.

Love, Death & Robots Volume 3 comes to Netflix on May 20.
