Team Lasso is Back in Trailer for Ted Lasso 3

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney may have tried to play the ‘Americans manage a football club story’ with Welcome to Wrexham, but Apple TV+ is coming back with their show with the same premise.

Ted Lasso returns with its third season this March, and we have a new trailer showcasing what’s in store for everyone on Team Lasso (and Nate). Check this out:

No doubt one of the biggest shake-ups this season is Nate’s departure, and we’re going to see him managing a rival team, but without any of the warmth that he received when he was working on AFC Richmond. With Nate gone though, this opens up star player Roy Kent to come in and be an assistant coach alongside Ted and Coach Beard.

Of course, there’s also the team members of AFC Richmond who have all been steadily getting increased roles as the show progresses like Sam, Isaac, and Dani. Of course, there’s also the team’s biggest jerk Jamie, who seems to have evolved to be more a team player in the latter episodes.

Here’s the official description for Ted Lasso 3:

In the third season of Ted Lasso, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them to finish last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.

Watch out for Ted Lasso 3 when it comes to Apple TV+ on March 15.
