Tom Holland Gets Dark in Trailer for The Crowded Room

Tom Holland is currently at the helm of two blockbuster franchises with Spider-Man and Uncharted, but he also gets into some very artsy projects once in a while, and Apple has just dropped the first trailer for The Crowded Room.

Watch this:

The synopsis reads:

The Crowded Room follows Danny Sullivan (Tom Holland), a man who is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. A captivating thriller told through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), Danny’s life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him, and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation.

Though Holland is currently being celebrated as an action star, some fans can forget that he also gets onboard for non-superhero flicks like Cherry which also came out on Apple. I guess if there is a dark project that I actually enjoy Holland’s performance in, it would have to be The Devil All the Time for Netflix.

Besides that, Holland has pretty much been on the kid-friendly side of movies with roles in Onward, Spies in Disguise, and Dolittle. Too bad Chaos Walking with Daisy Ridley didn’t really kick off as a franchise because that would have been insane to have Spider-Man and Rey Skywalker be the lead of a YA franchise.

The Crowded Room premieres on Apple TV+ on June 9.
