Untitled 'Avengers 4' Movie Has Officially Begun Filming

The Russo Brothers have just confirmed that after wrapping “Avengers: Infinity War” last month, they are now filming for the Untitled “Avengers 4” movie. Footage for “Infinity War” was shown to audiences at this year’s D23 Expo and San Diego Comic-Con. After a relatively short break from filming, the Russos are at it again for the conclusion of the “Avengers” saga.

It’s very likely that not every superhero who will take part in “Infinity War” will make it out alive. The official cast for “Avengers 4” is being kept a secret, but both Josh Brolin and Jeremy Renner have confirmed that they will be returning to “Avengers 4” as their characters, Thanos and Hawkeye respectively.

Avengers 4: Beginning The End

Meanwhile, production for “Avengers 4” is prompt and on schedule as The Russo Brothers took to Facebook today to announce that the cameras have started rolling for the “Infinity War” sequel. The Untitled “Avengers” movie will serve as the epic conclusion to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 3.

The story for the film will most likely bring together every major plot thread of the MCU and bring a huge conclusion to the entire story of Thanos’ involvement in the lives of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. This would usher in a new era for the franchise as Phase 4 comes along after the events of “Avengers 4.”

Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man is one of the newest heroes under the MCU. His story will be included in “Infinity War,” and would most likely continue after “Avengers 4.” This makes him one of the first few films of the MCU’s Phase 4. A number of films are yet to be announced for the next phase of Marvel’s vast universe of big screen superheroes.

Once the official title for the movie is revealed, we’ll be able to have a better idea of things to expect. The Russo’s have previously said that heist films from the 90’s will have a huge influence on “Infinity War,” and so “Avengers 4” might push the game forward by certainly topping that. As of now, not much is known until we have some concrete announcement to speculate from.

The “Untitled Avengers 4” Movie is set to premiere on May 3, 2019.
