To kick start 2018, it’s time to recognize the efforts of our dear artists for the previous year. In doing so, the “Golden Globe Awards” is here! Here’s the list and a brief recap y’all have been waiting for:
To host the event would be the charming television host Seth Meyers. Speaking of which, in his opening monologue, he immediately mentions a prevailing topic that’s been talked about—sexual misconduct. Not long ago, the movement “Time’s Up” emerged. It’s mainly composed of women who vow support and assistance to women in an unequal world. Stars like Laura Dern, Amy Poehler, Susan Sarandon, Meryl Streep, Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Michelle Williams and Shailene Woodley have brought activists as their plus one on the ceremony. According to them, it’s an effort to divert attention to the bigger issue at hand. It’s women’s responses to diffuse criticism.
