Lucifer Season 4 Drops May Premiere Date And Teaser From Netflix

The devil has risen! And the Lucifans’ efforts have now borne its fruit. In true steamy and devilish style, Netflix unveiled that Lucifer Season 4 will be going live on May 8th through a short teaser featuring the show’s lead man Tom Ellis emerging from a pool looking like the arrogant devil he plays.

Lucifer Season 4 picks up right after season three’s major cliffhanger where Lucifer’s devil face is finally revealed to Chloe Decker (Lauren German). But the aftermath of that won’t be the only thing the devil would have to face; because another one of the Bible’s great characters will be coming to haunt Lucifer—in the persona of Inbar Lavi’s Eve. The devil isn’t sure if she wants revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden or something else entirely. 

According to Ellis’s interview with TVInsider, each of the ten episodes will count. And he also believes that it’s the shows best season yet. The actor credits it to how they left off and how they’re picking it up. In another interview with EW, he says, “…what we deal with this season is stuff we’ve never really dealt with before because there was always this conceit that no one believes Lucifer is the devil. But now that is common knowledge amongst some of our major characters.”

Ellis has also revealed that the show would be undergoing a change in tone. However, fans need not worry because it won’t be a tantalizing amount that would deviate from its original setting. He also warns fans that now that broadcast restrictions no longer limit them; Lucifer Season 4 would be having more nudity and gore in its play. The show is undoubtedly making a comeback that counts.
