Marvel Releases 'Inhumans' First Official Trailer

Marvel’s next TV series “Inhumans” is on its way this coming fall and the first official trailer has been released. The “Inhumans” feature the Royal Family who serves as one of the main heroes of the series. It stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt and his queen, Serinda Swan as Medusa. Alongside them is “Game of Thrones” star Iwan Rheon who will be playing as Maximus. Since the trailer’s release, it has garnered over 3 million views as of today.

Getting to know the ‘Inhumans’

The “Inhumans” are a Marvel comic superhero team first created back in 1965. Since then, they have been living in the city of Attilan on the moon. The story focuses on the Royal Family making their way to the Earth. And they did. All thanks to the machinations of Maximus. However, their arrival on Earth seems like it won’t be good for anyone.

The Royal Family have developed special abilities after World War II. Apparently making them “Inhumans.” The premise also includes the rivalries and adventures of the royal family to the secret race of metahumans.

Black Bolt, the king of the Inhumans, is the show’s lead. He is famously mute as his voice causes destruction even with a whisper. His queen is Medusa, and she has powers with her yards of hair. Other characters include Crystal, who can control the four elements. There’s also Lockjaw, a teleporting huge dog. Finally, there’s Maximus who led the Royal family to Earth and is also Black Bolt’s brother. He aims to conquer throne as king. Sounds pretty awesome for Marvel introducing an astonishing new saga with mixed elements of royalty and superpower.

On September 1, we are to welcome the worldwide premier of “Inhumans” on IMAX screens. The IMAX viewing will run for two weeks. And starting September 29, the complete series including the first two episodes will air on ABC. Watch the trailer below:
