NCIS Los Angeles Season 8 Episode 14: Under Siege

In the previous episode, “NCIS Los Angeles” Season 8, Episode 13 (“Hot Water”), Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) implies the former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was a “friend and mentor” by sharing a famous quote: “A woman is like a tea bag; you’ll never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.”

To say that Lange gets into hot water in NCIS LA 8×13 is an understatement. However, it appears she will get into a worse ordeal in NCIS LA 8×14.

“Hetty goes rogue, leaving the NCIS team completely in the dark, and the mole kidnaps one of the agents,” reads the NCIS LA 8×14 synopsis from CBS.

NCIS Los Angeles Season 8 Cast Bids Farewell To Miguel Ferrer

There was no new episode of NCIS LA last week, leaving many fans anxious to learn what happens next. Miguel Ferrer’s Owen Granger gets framed and stabbed in NCIS LA 8×13, which aired on Jan. 15. Sadly, Ferrer died on Jan. 19 of throat cancer. He was 61.

Fans who are eager to see a real NCIS LA tribute for the late Miguel Ferrer may have to wait for that special episode. But in social media, the actors playing Kensi and Deeks have shared their sentiments on their colleague’s death.

Rest In Peace, Miguel Ferrer

On Twitter and Instagram, Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen pay tribute to Miguel Ferrer by posting the following:

In the series, Ferrer’s character has been battling an unknown illness prior to the events of NCIS LA 8×13. Granger remains alive by the end of the episode, but Under Secretary of Defense Corbin Duggan (Jackson Hurst) gets shot. Meanwhile, Special Agents Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) and G. Callen (Chris O’Donnell), as well as LAPD Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), are in custody of different agencies in LA.

“NCIS Los Angeles” Season 8, Episode 14 is expected to reveal the mole that the NCIS LA team has been trying to identify. The plot has escalated, peaking to intense hot water situations. It remains to be seen if this week’s new episode could put an end to the mole arc. Incidentally, it has been revealed that the CIA has been acting against the NCIS LA.
