‘NCIS’ Los Angeles Season 9 Episode 14 Returns in March; Team to Rescue Hetty [Spoiler]

Fans will have to wait a little longer to see if Hetty will be rescued by her former team or not. The “NCIS Los Angeles” Season 9 will come back to the small screen in March to save Hetty from her captors in Vietnam.

Why The Delay?

CBS usually has its Sunday shows on hiatus by the end of January to February due to several special programs scheduled on the same day. These include the Grammys, NFL Playoffs, the 2018 Winter Olympics, and the Oscars.
Despite the delay, fans had a chance to watch one of the main actresses of “NCIS Los Angeles,” Daniela Ruah, on TV this week. Ruah plays the role of Kensi Blye, who is currently engaged to her partner Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen). Ruah hosted “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials 2018” on Tuesday along with former NFL quarterback and CBS Sports NFL analyst Boomer Esiason. The event allowed viewers to vote live for their favorite “Man vs. Beast” commercials. It also pays tribute to some of the greatest Super Sunday ads from Apple, McDonald’s, and Budweiser ahead of Super Bowl LII kick off.
Meanwhile, while waiting for the return of “NCIS Los Angeles” Season 9, here are some details on what to expect in March.

“NCIS Los Angeles” Season 9 Episode 14 Guide

The series will come back with a huge story arc – Hetty’s (Linda Hunt) rescue. After months of guessing, the team finally found a lead on where Hetty is and who might have kidnapped her.
Callen (Chris O’Donnell), Sam (LL Cool J), Kensi, and Deeks are already on their way to Vietnam as seen in the recent episode of “NCIS LA”. But they are not the one looking for Hetty. Her old friends – Rear Admiral Albert Jethro “A.J.” Chegwidden (John M. Jackson), Admiral Sterling Bridges (James Remar), and Captain Charles Langston (Carl Lumbly) – are also in the country to rescue her.
The upcoming episode titled, “Goodbye Vietnam,” suggests that Hetty will leave the country. It is not clear, however, whether or not the team will be able to save her life before it’s too late. As for the most recent episode of the show, Hetty is alive but still in captivity in Vietnam. However, that might change after she had bitten the ear of one of her captors.
The former head of NCIS LA office has been suffering from torture over the past weeks. Her kidnappers have been trying to squeeze some valuable information from her. At one point, she was locked up with a hungry tiger, hoping that she will be terrified and beg to be released in exchange for information. However, knowing Hetty, she is one tough and brave agent. She remained tight-lipped and bitten the ear of her captor.
Will her captors finally lose patience and kill her? Could Hetty be able to stay alive long enough for her team to find her?
Mark your calendar for the return of “NCIS Los Angeles” Season 9 on March 11 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
