Teen Wolf Season 6 (Part 2), Episode 11: 'Said the Spider to the Fly' Recap

At long last, the second part of “Teen Wolf” Season 6 has finally premiered and we can’t wait to just go crazy about the events that unfolded in episode 11 of the last season.

Within the first few minutes of “Teen Wolf’s” Season 6 Part 2 premiere, it was obvious that Scott McCall and his friends were ready to bail out of Beacon Hills. However, the town wasn’t that ready to let them go yet. Not much is known about the goings on in Beacon Hills, but it’s also clear that fear is the main cause of everything that’s happening.

Teen Wolf: Beacon Hill Will Never Let Them Go

The newest episode of “Teen Wolf” opens with Scott during his lacrosse practice, with him seemingly swapping his normal jersey for an assistant coach” jacket. He needs to convince Finstock that Liam is good enough to be the team captain. We then see Liam feeling bad in the locker room after having just learned that Hayden moved away to protect her sister. Mason and Corey drag Liam out to the field, but he loses control of his anger and his yellow eyes suddenly flash on the field. It’s a good thing that Scott was there to take care of the situation, but it seems that Liam isn’t the only problem as an actual wolf (also injured) stumbles onto the field. Scott flashes it with his red eyes and the wolf whimpers away. Liam and Scott then follow suit. As they go deeper into the woods, Liam and Scott discover multiple dead wolves scattered everywhere.Malia doesn’t want to hear it from the two, even as Lydia tries to explain it to

Malia doesn’t want to hear it from the two, even as Lydia tries to explain it to her. Apparently, Malia is done with “mysterious animal situations.” Her focus is now centered on “mysterious men… French ones.” As soon as her flight comes out of delay, she’ll hop right in and go to Paris right away. It’s also very clear that Mali’s done with all the mysteries surrounding Beacon Hills—until the next day as another round of “weird animal-related events” happen: rats taking over an entire classroom.

The next day, Liam, Corey, and Mason were on their way to meet with the nosy guidance counselor for their senior registration schedule. It’s also obvious that this one has a heightened interest for supernatural occurrences. She also went ahead to ask Nolan about an animal attack that happened in the library this past summer. “Everybody knows that was no animal,” says Nolan. As for the wolf that appeared during lacrosse practice, Nolan believes that it was just some kind of a wolf. And then, miss guidance counselor asks about the other kinds of wolves that he has seen but Nolan changes the subject.

Meanwhile, down the hall, a classroom is filled with rats. This prompts Liam and Mason to head to the tunnels and investigate. It’s there that they find something similar to the dead wolves. This time, it’s rats. That’s when they call Malia for assistance. She then confirms that it’s the smell of fear that she can get from the dead rats. Mason calls this phenomenon a work of the rat king.

Meanwhile, Scott and Lydia thinks that they’re also leaving, so each of them gives their parents some kind of present to help protect them when the two are gone. Lydia gives her mother, Principal Martin, a list of all the supernatural beings in Beacon Hills, while Scott leaves Melissa a stun baton. When all was said and done, Lydia and Scott then get ready to leave—until Lydia gets a vision. She’s back in school, covered in webs, with each of them emitting horrifying sounds. The final web she touches says, “You let it out. You were supposed to ride with the Hunt forever.” Because of these things, Lydia, Scott and even Malia are forced to stay.

A New Troublemaker

In the midst of these happenings, Parrish is faced with a newbie baddie named Hellhound Halwyn (except that he’s hella old). Halwyn was around since 1912 when the Eichen House first opened. After being frozen for a couple of years, he’s finally out and about. He tells Parrish that he’s hunting someone that Parrish let out and then knocks him out while injuring Liam. But then he realizes that Liam is the wrong guy he’s looking for. Although he didn’t say why he went on because what he was looking for “won’t stay hidden. It must be stopped. Nothing else matters.”

Back in Roscoe, Lydia, Malia, and Scott try to devise a plan to help stop what they unleashed. The only person that they need for this to be fixed is Hellhound, and so they need to look for him. The only catch? Miss guidance counselor shot him with a special kind of bullet—which also has the Argent engraving on it.

Lydia then remembers something she heard in the hallway: “The sound of people who’ve never lifted a hand against another human being… they were killing each other.” On other words, people are turning against each other in a chaotic turn of events, and no one is permitted to leave Beacon Hills just yet. Maybe it’s also time for Stiles to return?

Speaking of Stiles, we see him as an intern in the FBI. He’s in Quantico, and he wants Scott to promise him that he’ll be leaving Beacon Hills as well. But due to the current events, Scott can’t leave and also couldn’t bring Stiles back to this mess. Now as Stiles’ FBI instructor introduces a new case for them to work on, it turns out to be Derek Hale. Now, Hale is wanted for mass murder. So it looks like Stiles’ got his hands full at the moment.

A lot of questions still need to be answered, but it’s definitely great to be back in Beacon Hills. That twist at the end also proved to be one hell of an ending for the season premiere.

“Teen Wolf” returns next Sunday, 8/7c on MTV.
