'The Voice' Season 14: 'The Battle Rounds' Part 4 Recap

The final night of “The Voice” Battle Rounds is here. Coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys have finally picked the last batch of singers to complete their team for the upcoming Knockout rounds. Find out what went down during Part 4 of the duels. Joining the roster of advisors are Hailee Steinfeld, Julia Michaels, Shawn Mendes, and Trace Adkins.

Team Adam: Stephanie Skipper vs. Jackie Verna

Kelly said that it was a good song, but it seems that “These Dreams” by Heart doesn’t suit Stephanie and Jackie’s voice. Both of them didn’t have the chance to show the power and uniqueness of their vocals.

Jackie, however, performed better than Stephanie so Adam chose to keep her.

Team Alicia: Livia Faith vs. Terrence Cunningham

Livia and Terrence delivered a heartfelt and intense performance. They sang Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ “Stars.” During the blind auditions, Alicia said that if she did anything right, it was to come to the show to meet Terrence. So even though Livia did great, Alicia chose Terrence as a safer bet.

Livia definitely deserves a steal but unfortunately, none of them (except Alicia’s) were left!

Team Blake: Dallas Caroline vs. Spensha Baker

Dallas and Spensha are both great singers. But what separated them from each other is the fact that Dallas felt very nervous throughout their performance.

The pair sang Maren Morris’ “I Could Use a Love Song” and Blake decided to keep Spensha. Dallas is not going home early as well because Alicia gave her last steal. Alicia said that Dallas had a potential and it would be exciting to see where that will lead her.

The Voice: Battle Montage

Angel and Gary performed “When You Believe.” The Filipino transgender, Angel Bonilla, didn’t manage to continue to the Knockout round since Adam decided to choose Gary.
Austin and Brett put some variations in the song “Me and Mrs. Jones.” Blake chose Austin because he believes that Austin is more ready for the next round.
Alexa battled herself after Hannah Goebel decided to leave the show for personal reasons. Her rendition of “Pray” amazed the coaches, most especially Kelly. Alexa will have to fight for her spot in the Knockout round to prove that she is deserving.
“The Voice” continues next Monday, April 2nd, and Tuesday, April 3rd with the Knockout Round at 8/7c on NBC.
