This Is Us Season 1 Returns Jan. 10: Is Toby Dead? Chris Sullivan Dishes Thoughts

“This Is Us” starring Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore returns to NBC on Jan. 10. Fans have been waiting since Dec. 6 to find out what happens next to Toby (Chris Sullivan). Is he dead or alive? The actor himself has spoken up, but left nothing for fans to hold on to.

In “This Is Us” Season 1 Episode 10, Toby collapses in Randall’s (Sterling K. Brown) living room after their Christmas Eve celebrations. This happens after Roby’s reconciliation with Kate (Chrissy Metz). Fans of the show are somewhat divided on this development. Some viewers are okay with losing Toby, while others want Kate’s boyfriend to stick around.
