Watch The OA Trailer: A New Mystery Series From Netflix

Netflix has just released the trailer of “The OA,” a mysterious series created and written by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij. The latest original series includes stars like Brit Marling herself, Jason Isaacs from the “Harry Potter” films, Scott Wilson from “The Walking Dead” and Emory Cohen from “Brooklyn.”

The Netflix original series is about the unexplained reappearance of Prairie Johnson (Brit Marling) who disappeared seven years ago. What’s more mysterious is the fact that Prairie was blind when she disappeared, but when she reappeared her sight was restored.

The trailer opens with Prairie Johnson in the hospital. At this point it is revealed that when she went missing she was blind. Johnson looks like she doesn’t recognize anyone. She then tries to hold the face of a woman, and instantly recognizes that it is her mother.

A group of men asks Johnson if she remembers anything about the events that led towards her disappearance. Johnson said, “I didn’t disappear, I was present for all of it.” This leads to what seems like an investigation. The trailer went on to show different scenes until Johnson finally says, “I remember. I remember everything.”

The Netflix original series “The OA” will be available for streaming via Netflix from Friday, December 16.
