When Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 returns to ABC, Karev (Justin Chambers) and Wilson (Camilla Luddington) will be at the center of the series. Is reconciliation possible for these two? First, a fair warning. Spoilers ahead for those who have not watched the mid-season finale (“You Haven’t Done Nothin’”).
Grey’s Anatomy Season 13: What’s Next For Jolex?
Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) is not a guy who lets go and moves on without looking back. He keeps his doors open to anyone who might look back and return to him. That’s until he finds himself in a committed relationship once again. He was committed to Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington). He wanted to marry her. Towards the end of the first half of the season, he is even getting ready to take jail time for her. But then Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) has other plans. What happens next when Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 returns?
A reconciliation between Karev and Wilson is likely, considering the two have finally learned to be honest with each other. Wilson has revealed to Karev that she is married; it was the reason why she could not accept his marriage proposal. Karev has apologized to Wilson for the mean things he had said. He urged her to stop from running away.
Meredith is against the idea of a plea deal. She believes Karev deserves a fair trial, and the jury is likely to keep her friend from jail. Karev, however, wants to cut the story short. He would rather go to jail for two years than see Jo Wilson walk away for fear of being found by her abusive legal husband.
When Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 returns to ABC, series creator Shonda Rhimes and her writers are expected to make sure that more drama would ensue between Karev and Wilson, as well as the rest of the cast.
